TEEN PARTIES
Planning a TEEN party?? Maybe a Sweet 16 birthday party?
One of the reasons parents enjoy my parties for their teenager's dance party is that I play the edited versions of Hip-Hop/Rap and R&B for their kids. But what parents really like is my involvement with the kids. Teens are generally shy on the dance floor at smaller, private parties. They are a little more adventurous at a school dance where they can melt into a large crowd. And some kids don't mature in the same way as others and dancing may be foreign to them. I try to mix it up for them. I try to remove some of the stress of dancing by not letting that be the main focus. I do this using other fun activities. I have several games that I introduce them to. And congas and the limbo is a fun change of pace for them as well. Watch some of the fun in this video!
GAMES = relaxed fun & entertainment
We often use games as ice-breakers which are certain to induce fun and excitement from your teenagers. Games are competitive and they allow everyone the opportunity to be involved in the party. Games help to balance the evenings activities and may even help to boost confidence with those who typically don't dance...but now find that dancing comes easier to them!
MUSIC VIDEOS = Fun and Excitement with ALL Teen Party Packages!
We include music videos with all Teen Dances at no extra charge! For teens that enjoy dancing to a super cool beat, they will love our music videos! And for teens that do not dance as much, they will be entertained by our music videos as well. Many teens do not dance 1:1 at parties. Instead, they often bunch up in groups and bounce to the beat as a group. Music videos help take the pressure off the kids that fall into this category!
MUSIC = keeping it clean
We work hard to make sure our Hip-Hop/Rap/R&B tracks are the edited versions, not just for teen parties, but for all parties. Many DJ's who call themselves "club DJ's" don't stock the edited versions. While your teen may listen to unedited versions on his or her MP3 player, we stick to the edited versions, period.

Tips for Party Planning
- Choose a location that is familar or popular with most people. A hard to find location will hurt attendance.
- Don't be afraid to invite high numbers. More often than not, attendees that show up are low in numbers. Unlike parties like receptions, where 70% of the invited guests will attend, from what I have seen with teen parties, only about 45% to 50% of those invited will likely attend. I've seen parties where only 10 or 12 showed up from 40 invites! I've seen parents buy pizza to feed 40 kids when only 10 showed up. Figure out how many guests you can handle in your budget, and plan by running the numbers with a percent calculator. Example, if you want to serve 40 kids snacks and drinks, you should invite 90 kids. Don't let that scare you. To have 70+ percent show would be rare.
- Avoid outside parties unless there is sheltor from thunderstorms and rain.
Note: We do not do parties for children less than 13 years of age.
